Therapy for Young Adults
Life in the big city, college/grad school, finding a job...adulting is hard. I love helping young adults find their way through life because I understand the struggle it can be sometimes (a lot of the time). Together, we'll find the tools that'll help you become the best version of yourself.
How can I help?
How psychotherapy can help you through this transitional phase.

I offer both traditional talk therapy, art therapy, or a combination of both. I think my perspective as someone who specializes in art therapy gives me a unique approach to helping young adults whom I believe have an excellent ability to think creatively, learn new ways of thinking, and allow themselves to be adaptable in the pursuit of bettering themselves and the world around them.

I understand the difficulties that can come with this stage of life. Here are some practical approaches we can use to manage them:

-
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to address unhealthy, distorted, or negative thought patterns which disrupt our thinking and functioning.
-
Art Therapy to express emotions in a nonverbal way, to practice mindfulness, and as a healthy outlet for our feelings.
-
ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) to learn acceptance of emotions, mindfulness, and identify values in order to enact positive change.
